Welcome to Murray Jones Fine Art! I’m a professional artist, commercial aviator, and an Army AH-64D/E Apache Instructor Pilot. Growing up in a family of combat veterans, I developed a deep passion for capturing the intense reality faced by our service members. With firsthand combat experience as a rifleman and Apache pilot in Iraq and Afghanistan, I create artwork that reflects the physical and emotional demands of war and flight. Specializing in oils, acrylics, and graphite/charcoal, I am open to commissions and work in genres beyond military aviation as well. Thank you for visiting, and God bless!

Military

Military art captures the intensity, sacrifice, and camaraderie of military life, from vivid battle scenes to intimate portraits. Through realism and firsthand experience, I create works that bring viewers closer to the human side of combat. Each piece pays homage to the camaraderie, resilience, and humanity within military life and are not only visually compelling but also deeply authentic.

Combat Aircraft

Combat aircraft art brings the power, precision, and intensity of military aviation to life, showcasing iconic aircraft in dynamic scenes. Through realism and firsthand experience, I create works that capture the technical beauty and emotional impact of flight. Each piece honors the spirit of aviation and those who fly, resonating with enthusiasts and veterans alike.

Aviation

Aviation art celebrates the grace, power, and innovation of flight, from historic aircraft to modern marvels. Through detailed realism and an aviator’s perspective, I create works that capture the thrill and beauty of soaring through the skies. Each piece pays tribute to aviation’s legacy and the courage of those who fly, inspiring both enthusiasts and professionals.

Helicopter

Helicopter art captures the unique agility, power, and purpose of rotary-wing flight, from military missions to search-and-rescue operations. With a pilot’s insight, I bring to life the dynamics and intensity of helicopters in action. Each piece is a tribute to the skill and bravery of those who operate these incredible machines, connecting with both aviators and enthusiasts.
